The Regulatory.Hazmat container is used by the seller to add hazardous material related information to the listing. Three fields are required to complete the Hazmat section of a listing: Pictograms, SignalWord, and Statements. The fourth field in the container, Component, is optional (not required to complete the Hazmat section of a listing).

Fields that apply to hazardous material listings are contained in different APIs. See API field relationships for details.

Note: The codes and sample values contained in this topic are provided as examples and are subject to change. Use the getHazardousMaterialsLabels method in the Metadata API for the latest supported values.

API field relationships

The following table contains the related fields from the Trading API and Metadata API. Use the Metadata API to retrieve the available codes for the marketplace/site, and the Trading API to set the codes for the listing.
